Plats. Poesi. Periferi. by Jonas Börjesson

Filmmaker Jonas Börjesson, from Halmstad, followed the poetry residency Place. Poetry. Periphery., creating a poetic film inspired by its themes. The film features poets Jun Feng / Jimbut, Åsa Maria Kraft, Morten Langeland, Jonas Rolsted, Heidi von Wright, and Helena Österlund.

The residency, organized by Art Inside Out in Hylte Municipality (Halland, Sweden), brought together six Nordic poets to explore how contemporary poetry can reflect rural life and spark social change. Set in a landscape shaped by forestry and farming, the project questioned how place, nature, and poetry intersect.

I created the music for the film as part of Old Amica, and we were honored to be nominated for Best Music Score at the Annual Copenhagen Film Festival 2018.
